  Visited twice in the last month. Both times the rooms were generally clean, although the second time the room smelled vaguely of wet dog. (The Motel offers pet-friendly accommodations.) The front desk was tolerant of our weak French language skills both times. The rooms were large and comfortable enough, although quite dated. Given the reasonable price, ample parking and highway-adjacent location, I would recommend the Motel Blanchet to those traveling on a tight budget. If you are not bilingual, you may find the service at the attached restaurant hit-or-miss, depending on your particular server's tolerance for English-speakers. (We had both good and bad.) The food is quite good, and it was nice being able to get a decent meal without needing to get back in the car.

  Very expensive for a motel. Was charged almost twice the price. Restaurant is open 24/7 so there is noise at night. Could not sleep.
